Page Notes: The final panel of page 12, helps to communicate the cramped nature of the area where Bradson and Frazier are working. There's a lot of talking in these initial pages, and Marc's script included direction that mixed up the back and forth while presenting images that help to understand the nature of the spill. The slope that falls from the surface is filled with all sorts of rubble, and we'll get a better idea of what makes up the rubble and exactly why Bradson is stationed down there in coming pages.
The fifth panel took as long to compose as the first four combined. The viewing angle played a significant part in the time... I've become more comfortable in the front, side, and three quarter views that make up nearly all of the viewing angles. While we do get a good view of the environment as we look down on our dynamic duo, the body angles and proportions were challenging. I'm not 100% happy with the outcome, but I remain encouraged at what I see on the "page". We'll be back in a week with the next page.
