Two blue-skinned humanoid women wearing white masks confront one another in a medical facility. The first identifies themself as Angie, and the other is designated 8244. As they struggle with fragmented memories, a holographic alert seen through the eyes of Angie order a response to an emergency within the facility. They discover a medical procedure room filled with the bloody bodies of staff members. 8244 urgently tells Angie, “We have to go. NOW.”

If you haven't had an opportunity to check out Jackwraith's most recent post on creating comics, I'd strongly recommend taking a look - It's insightful for fans of comics, and those of us who have created or aspired to create comic books will identify with the words.

The collaboration... the back and forth... the sharing of thoughts and ideas... These are the aspects of the creative process are amongst the most rewarding aspects of creating something with another creative individual. In the case of Dystopia, the fact that I get to do this with somebody that I've known for 30 years and has shared in the highs and lows of a life makes it that more meaningful. My desire for you is to be able to share something as meaningful with somebody that you care for.
