Ventrik and Tanya stand in the cave entrance to the underground chamber as Scylla, a large anemone-like creature fills the space, its tentacles spreading outward across rubble and shallow water. Several silhouetted netwights are diving into the chamber surrounding Scylla. Ventrik holds a tablet and instructs Tanya to continue observing the creature’s behavior while he prepares to move closer.

In the following panel, Tanya raises a hand in concern as Ventrik looks ahead, focused and determined.

Ventrik hands the tablet to Tanya and makes his way out of the tunnel and into the cavern… she is to observe while he retrieves a sample.

Ventrik studies the creature from a distance, identifying a section of its tendrils that appears still or inactive among portions of collapsed debris.

In the final panels, more silhouetted figures appear at the broken opening above the chamber. Soldiers continue to gather and begin firing weapons at the creature and wights as netwights continue throwing themselves over the edge and into the fray.
